More about the accommodation:
Room 1 is 3.10 X 2.55m (+ 1.10 X 0.75m walk-in wardrobe which is outside the rectangle, but accessible only from it) = Total floor area including wardrobe is ca. 8.75m2 This is the room advertised. The cost is NEGOTIABLE and includes everything (except the optional extras as below), so no bills, no Council Tax and everything needed for the flat itself is also included like pots & pans, cutlery and crockery etc also washing-up liquid, toilet paper, cleaning chemicals etc. you don't need to buy anything and you don't need to make contributions of any kind to bills at all! You just need your own personal food, soap, shampoo and deodorant etc. This area is central London (Congestion Charging Zone CCZ & ULEZ) near London Bridge and although on a relatively quiet closed-off (no through route) street, this is a busy working area, not a suburban area! All central areas of London are within walking distance from here, but there must be about 70 Bus routes, 4 Main-line railway Stations and 5 Underground Tube Stations (6 Lines) within 15 mins walk from here! A new additional mainline rail has opened at London Bridge Station to increase capacity and link new areas. Off Street parking is available with a Permit that you would be eligible to apply for from Building Management (about £89 per year I think). London CCZ Resident Drivers are entitled to a 90% discount. A Communal Residents' Only garden area is available for use. This Double room which was purpose built in 1948 of statutory dimensions as a double bedroom is £240.- per week / £1025.- per month and comes with the "up to 1000 Mbps" (1 Gigabit) as supplied unlimited download fibre-optic Broadband secure network with wi-fi connection (WLAN) all included in the monthly charge. Winter central heating is included (N.B.guaranteed to minimum 18 degrees Celcius, but it is usually warmer unless doors and windows are being left open!). The included value of the cost of gas and electricity part of the rent is always subject to revision, but hopefully it will stay the same, but the current Energy Crisis is resulting in higher costs. If you are going to be home all day (e.g. working) and therefore need the heating on let me know..We've normally all agreed a heating schedule before the heating season starts, but additional plug-in Electric heating is an optional extra at currently £16.65p for 35hrs per week (£3.33p per day 7hrs before general heating kicks in) or at the cost per estimated KWhrs equivalent for agreed hours) if you like it luxuriously hot!
We keep this flat clean ourselves and have an organized rota for cleaning which you would be expected to participate in. If you don't like cleaning or want to opt out of the cleaning at any time you can just swap with someone else or barter or pay the cash equivalent to one of us to do your cleaning for you (if we're willing). Everything except room size is negotiable: so if you are on a budget, just let me know
