Hi, and welcome to my flat in Glasgow! The flat is on a quiet cul-de-sac and offers views out over the treetops and hills in the distance. It is a clean and quiet space, suitable for someone who will appreciate and maintain these qualities. There is a good broadband connection, suitable for gaming or streaming. The room currently has a bunk bed, so it's perfect if you're likely to have a friend to stay for a weekend. It also has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, and desk. The flat has a shared bathroom with bath and electric shower, good-sized kitchen with microwave, and shared lounge area. It is in a great location if you like to cycle; you can just hop onto the canal towpath and you can be in the city centre in half an hour, the West End in 20 minutes, or the Vet School in 10 minutes. I cycle most places. Alternatively, you can walk 4 minutes and catch the bus, or 10 minutes and catch the train from Westerton. There is also free on-street parking. There is a local shop 5 minutes walk away, and a few takeaways within a similar distance. Rent for the room is £450 per month including all bills.

More about the household:
I am the owner of the flat, and occupy the second bedroom. I am 36 years old and work full time in the city as a web manager, so the flat is usually quiet during the day on weekdays. In the evenings I'm usually out visiting friends or attending church meetings. If I am at home of an evening, I'll tend to be batch cooking some lunches, kicking back with a show or film, preparing a Bible study, or practising acoustic guitar in preparation for Sunday worship (I'll always close the door so as not to disturb anyone!). Over the weekend I tend to be involved with church activities, or visiting friends. I'm very involved at St Silas, and can highly recommend it if you're looking for a vibrant church in the West End. The flat is available immediately, but will need to be vacated by August 2026 (14 months time, as of 1 July 2025), as my current flatmate will be returning then from work placement.
