Hello,
I am CJ, and my mum is looking for a lodger for her home in Sydenham.
*Introduction*
I'm Angela and I am opening up my home to a lodger for a short term basis (2 weeks to 4 months) now until August 2026
I'm an Adult English Teacher by training and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
*The Location*
It has been a true joy to live in Sydenham for over 20 years. My house is less than a minute walk to the 7 hectare Mayow Park, which includes Tennis Courts, Cricket Lanes, outdoor gym, running track, a cafe and many more hidden gems. I live a 4 minute walk from Sydenham Overground Station which has direct trains to Shoreditch High Street or London Bridge in less than 30 minutes. I live 5 minutes from Sydenham High Street which has grocery stores, independent cafes and boutique eateries.
*The Home*
I own a 6 bedroom house, that has a side extension. The side extension contains two well sized double bedrooms and a bathroom/toilet (you will have access to the bathroom and the room). Most of my adult children have moved out, but my youngest son currently lives in one of these rooms and myself and my youngest daughter live upstairs.
There is one decent sized kitchen with an oven, fridge space and washing machine.
There is a shared living room and garden space, that you can also use.
*Bills*
The price listed is inclusive of bills e. g. water, WiFi, electricity, gas, council tax. This is based on considerate fair use.
*About You*
Being a lodger can be quite a personal experience, so I am looking for someone who is trust worthy, respectful and an effective communicator.
*Next Steps*
The room will be available to move in from 22nd February and we will be holding flexible viewings up until them.
If you are interested there will be a short self referencing form I will send you to fill out prior to being invited to the open viewing.
I hope to notify you by the 10th February of the outcome, and if we're both happy to proceed a Lodger Agreement will be drawn up.
