Bright, spacious and recently refurbished double room on the first floor of a large, colourful victorian terraced house. The room has a king-size bed, bedside tables with table lamps, large chest of drawers, clothes rail, open shelves and a built-in desk/study or dressing-table area. The room is at the front of the property with scenic views over the valley. The room has blackout blinds and curtains, large double radiator, fitted carpet, feature fireplace and chandelier. One full set of bedding is provided.

The main house bathroom is on the same floor and has been recently refurbished to a high standard with mixer shower over a freestanding rolltop bath, WC, basin and benefits from cosy underfloor heating.

On the ground floor is a large dining room, with space for 10-12 guests to eat together and a 2-seat sofa-bed. You're welcome to use this space at any time. To the rear is a cosy lounge with wood burning stove and views out to the garden and park beyond. We tend to use this space of an evening but you are welcome to use at other times. The kitchen features a range style cooker with gas hobs and electric ovens/grill, dishwasher and fridge.

To the rear of the property, the garden has an attractive range of raised beds and seating areas including a large decking area.

Off-street parking and EV charging is available, as well as fibre broadband.

Please note we have two friendly cats, so the room would not suit anyone with allergies!

In the basement there is a washing machine, clothes airers, fridges and freezers.

Situated close to Shipley town centre, we have excellent road, rail and bus transport links. The house is on the edge of Northcliffe Park & Woods and close to the Leeds-Liverpool canal and Baildon moor, making for ideal walking and running routes. We're close to the world heritage site of Saltaire village, with a range of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes within easy walking distance. Further afield Ilkey and Skipton are perfect days out, accessible by road or rail within 30 minutes.

Hi, we're Kim & Laurence and we'd love to welcome you to our home.

Kim works for our church, Fountains Church Bradford, and Laurence works for the Diocese of Leeds. We work from home a couple of days a week, with Friday being our non-working day. Kim's daughter (17) lives with us 3 days a week. We both enjoy being active and getting outdoors, running in the nearby woods or along the canal, and walking up and over the moors, stopping off at a cosy pub. We love food, music and theatre. Kim enjoys being creative and painting as a way of connecting with God. Laurence loves DIY and always has a project or two on the go. We are both early birds, so this might not suit you if you're a night owl!
