We are a Christian couple whose kids have left for college. 3 rooms are occupied in our 5-roomed home (us on the 2nd floor and a 2 ladies on the first floor). We are offering 1 double room for rent on the ground floor. Room rental is £700 (plus £150 for bills: gas, elec, water, council tax, super fast fiber-optic wifi, etc and an occasional cleaner for kitchen, lounge/common areas), so £850 in total. We would like references from interested parties. The room is ideal for a professional working in London. There is free, on-street parking in this residential road. The busses are very frequent - just a short 2-3minute walk to Woodhouse Road. The nearest tube is Woodside Park on the Northern Line (5mins drive). North Finchley High Street is about 10 minutes walk. We have a large garden with entertainment space, table tennis, firepit, built-in bbq and an open plan kitchen dining room, and lounge with piano, all shared spaces. The 4 of us are all non smokers so we will consider non-smokers only. Our neighbours are lovely and quiet. I work from home, so ideally a quietish person to share our space. Although we have a cleaner to clean the common parts, we do not offer cleaning for your room. Each room is furnished and each room has their own small fridge. We have a dishwasher-dryer, free on-street free parking, 2 kitchen sinks, 4 toilets, filtered water tap, a spacious lounge dining kitchen area to share, induction stove, 2 ovens, 2 freezers, but no microwave. The gr fl room is fully furnished with double bed that can fold back to a single if you prefer more floorspace, drawers, shelves, desk, chair, lamp, bin and bedding, side table and clothes hanging rail. You are free to use the cleaning liquids, clothes horses and vacuums, so only food and drink is required for your own account, plus your own crockery/cutlery for your use on your own kitchen shelves. We do ask for a practicing Christian to join us, rather than other faith ideally as we are all Christians. Vegans/vegetarians are welcome but we do BBQ meat, being 2 South Africans, 1 Chinese lady and 1 South American. We are all working professionals and look forward to one other working professional to join the 2 ladies who live here, as we are away often.
