More about the accommodation:

Cozy single room available to rent from December 1st. The room is on the small side, but is comfortable and has lots of storage. There is a single bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bookshelves. It has a nice view over the garden.

The house is comfortable and restful, close to city centre. Downstairs there is a large well equipped kitchen with seating area, a large living / dining room including sofa, easy chairs and 6 seater dining table, two bathrooms (downstairs with shower and upstairs with bath and shower), and three bedrooms.

There is a nice garden and there is a parking space on the drive that could be made available.

Great location, just a 5-10 minute cycle ride or 30 minute walk into the city centre. Five minute walk to local shops and a bus stop for regular buses into city. The Thames riverside path is 5 minutes away.

Some working from home is possible although the situation would not be suitable for full time remote working.

It would be good to speak by phone in the first instance with anyone interested in the room, and then we can follow up with a viewing from there.

I have lived in Oxford for many years in different rented accommodations, and since moving to my own place in Swinburne Road I have shared with many different lodgers over the years, which has worked out well. Since there is a large amount of communal space, and two bathrooms, the house works well for sharing.

Over the years I have hosted lodgers of different ages, including people in their 20s who were here for post graduate study.

I work at the University within the Science division, and I attend Oxford Community Church.

I enjoy baking, film nights, and eating together from time to time.
