More about the accommodation:
We are a small community of 5 Christians living together in Montpelier. We’re right near Stokes Croft, St Werbergh's City Farm and 20 mins walk to the city centre. The house is also near the independent shops of Gloucester Road and green space at St Andrews Park. The house has a large garden and we have been renovating the house so it's coming together nicely.
ABOUT THE ROOM
There is one room available on 1st April 2025. It is a large single / small double room. This bedroom is on the first floor and has a high ceilings, solid wood floor and a large window with lovely city views. The rent includes all bills including council tax, internet, Netflix, prime video, etc. The room is semi-furnished - get in touch for details.
ABOUT THE HOUSE
As a house, we don’t cook together nightly but we do shared meal once a week on Monday nights where we take turns cooking, plus occasional movie nights, games nights, etc. Nothing quite as routine as other Christian community houses - we just like to connect, pray and have fun together. Our home is a special, welcoming space. We do have a cleaning rota so each person has one job a week.

More about the household:
Personality wise, across the house we’re a friendly bunch of people with a mix of creative, musical, and sporty interests. We are mostly all part of Woodlands Church and also Broadmead Baptist.
Including our new housemate, there will be five of us plus our toddler (almost 3 years old) in a large four storey, 6 bedroom Victorian house in the heart of Montpelier. There are three bedrooms that my husband and I and our daughter use and three that we let out.
We are expecting another baby this summer, so there will be two little housemates. Our home is well soundproofed and the layout is well thought out, so we wouldn't expect the baby to disturb housemates - in case that's a worry for anyone.
We do prefer housemates who don't work from home - if they did, it would need to be only occasionally ie one day a week and from their own room.
