More about the accommodation:
The room is on the ground floor with a street view and late afternoon sun. It is a large room with a single bed, a desk, sofa and storage space. You will have access to a shared bathroom with a shower, and another room with toilet, sink and washing machine.
Our guests are welcome to use the kitchen and sometimes we would enjoy eating together.
Our house has a spacious back garden with a patio sitting area which you are welcome to use.
We live on a quiet residential street close to bus stops (No 9 and No 41 on the Portway, and No 3 and No 4 on Shirehampton Road) and Sea Mills train station into the centre is only 10 minutes walk away.
There are some local shops and a café close by. There is a gym, golf course, wooded areas and river walks in the vicinity.

More about the household:
We are a married couple approaching retirement and our children have grown up. Our daughter lives with us and works with the local church. We are connected to Highgrove church and also attend an Anglican church in the centre - Easton Christian Family Centre.
We enjoy gardening and the open air. We enjoy eating together in the evenings and like tasting and cooking foreign food. We have no pets. Sometimes we play board games in the evenings, and enjoy painting and art.
We are English but have lived abroad for a number of years and find engaging with different cultures an enriching experience.
We both work from home for part of the week so there is often someone in the home and we relay on a good wifi conection.
We have an electric piano which is available to use and some of us play the guitar.
