We are fortunate enough to have lots of room in our Victorian home with an eat in kitchen, 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Your bedroom, on its own level, looks out onto the garden and so you can hear nothing from the road. The room in question has use of a bathroom next to it.
We have a large garden (for London) with plenty of space for relaxing, space to sit, eat, swing on a hammock, bounce on a trampoline, play a bit of footie or badminton.
The eat in kitchen goes straight out onto the garden and patio area.
Apart from the kitchen/dining room there is a large utility room and downstairs wash room.
The children have a games room at the very top of the house which means the rest of us don't get disturbed when they're playing games!
There is also a laundry room for drying clothes.
The front door is distanced from the road by a front gravel drive which makes it feel more secure and easy going in and out of the house.
It is 6 minutes to walk to Streatham Mainline train Station, 12 minutes to walk to Streatham Common. 5 Minutes to the nearest Bus Stop at St Leonard's with many fast linkes to Balham (15 mins), Tooting Bec (5 Mins), Tooting (5 Mins) all of which are on the Northern Line. From Streatham Main/Common it is 13 mins to Victoria or London Bridge- 8 mins to Clapham Junction.
We are 5-7 Minutes walk from several large supermarkets.
It is under 10 minutes to walk to the large green space of Tooting common (5km circumference) or Streatham Common- both lovely areas to relax and popular for sports and jogging.

More about the household:
We are a family with four children - 3 boys aged 18,17,15 and a daughter aged 11, plus a 4 year old black labrador. In addition, we occasionally have one other short term guest.
Dan is a secondary school teacher and Sarah works for a church in Wandsworth. Life is relatively busy with homework, after school clubs, sporting fixtures, church and friends. We love to cook, bake and eat together and with others. We all love a good Netflix series or an action packed movie, as well as board and card games. And we love to walk in the countryside whenever we can.
During the week, everyone arrives home at different times but we try to eat together more on the weekends.
