Hello there
Over the years I have loved having lodgers in this wonderful property. I am about to leave as vicar of this parish at the end of November - so if there is anyone who needs a short term let at £90 a week then this place is available for them. (three of my lovely lodgers Phil and Rob and keziah have now moved out in anticipation of me leaving)


The room is
one very large double room, but (because it used to be my daughter's room) only has a single bed in it.

There is also a smaller room - but with a double bed in it.

It is potentially possible the beds could be swapped over - and I would be happy to help but you would need to do that.
We could potentially take a couple rather than a single person


So what else do you get if you come here? There is a large kitchen diner and a spacious living room, a dining room for dinner parties and a massive garden (especially good for barbecues). There is Netflix, and Amazon Prime and high quality wifi. It's in a lovely green area - just off the beautiful boulevard which is The Fairway. The kitchen has a veritable host of culinary equipment from the usuals like cooker and microwave to breadmaker, coffee machine, slow cooker, steamer etc.

The house is 20 minutes walk from Greenford Station (central) and Sudbury Hill (Picadilly), 15 from Northolt (if you know the secret route). There are good cinemas only a few stops away on the underground at Westfield, or a short bus ride to Harrow. There is a weatherspoons round the corner, an excellent fish and chip shop, several other very decent pubs, a costa by Greenford tubestation, a Harvester by Northolt tube station. We are also in delivery range not just of ordinary Indians but of several interesting regional specialist ones (Sri Lankan, South Indian, Goan, Nepalese, etc)
We are literally the only house on our street - so there is plenty of room for parking if you have a car.

My name is 'Mund (short for Edmund) - I the vicar of the very friendly St Barnabas church Northolt. The other existing lodger / housemate is Phil in his early 30s who works as a policeman. Phil was living in the single room that is available for you but has now moved into the larger room because Jonathan is moving out. Jonathan has been here for about two years and is leaving to move back in with his parents because the pandemic has effected his quantity of work as a computer programmer but has also meant he can now work from anywhere. Phil has been here about 18 months.

I'm divorced so my kids are here every second weekend and some of the time midweek. Jess is 17 and doing her A levels. Henry is 12 and obsessed with Pokémon, Minecraft and Fortnight. Henry is on the autistic spectrum.

I am looking for lodgers mainly because it's a big house and it's fun to have people around.

I am 48. In non-covid times I enjoy entertaining. My TV choices range from Emily in Paris to Man in the High Castle and Game of Thrones to Miranda. Always happy to have new things recommended to me. I enjoy reading historical fiction, science fiction and slightly weird non fiction.
