Hello, my name is Julia. I'm 33 and currently living in Edinburgh. My landlord is going to sell the flat I am in so I am looking for a new flat as well as a new flatmate with the deadline being the end of June (I can move out sooner). Happy to team up with someone who is looking for a flat.
I was born in London but I have been living in Scotland for 20 years. I attend Victory Hill Church in the Grassmarkets. I am very serious about my faith, and would like to live with someone who also is as well as someone who is at a similar age and stage of life as me.
My degree is in Contemporary Dance in which I have worked as a Choreographer, Dancer and Teacher. I also have an interest and involvement in outreach / evangelism and ministry. As well as dance and the arts, I love the outdoors/nature, animals, travelling, music, singing, and chatting about Jesus. I also enjoy cooking, baking on occasion, and chilling out watching a nice film. I am kinda a mix of an introvert and extrovert. I enjoy and need my own space sometimes to decompress and have some quiet time, but I also love being around and spending time with people. I like to be sociable and enjoy sharing the living space I am in with others (eg friends, family, and hosting church gatherings like small groups and worship nights etc). I'd be looking for a flatmate who would be comfortable and happy with sometimes having people over, and someone who isn't very introverted but has a social side too. I enjoy living in a friendly welcoming social space where we can chat, share life and pray together, and have some times to chill out too over dinner or a movie :)
Flat wise I am looking for a ground floor flat, otherwise one on the first floor but no higher than that (unless there is a lift in the building), and somewhere near some green space for walks.
