James & I have been used to sharing our home with many people over the years. James is a busy semi-retired Baptist minister & Marion is a retired freelance drama tutor.
Our home offers easy access by bike or bus to the city centre with a bus stop seconds away.
We are offering one single front bedroom which is a loft conversion. There is a bathroom on this floor with a shower room on the ground floor. We share the kitchen, along with all the cooking utensils, crockery, pans, etc. A fridge/freezer is provided for the lodgers, along with cupboard space for groceries. Washing machine & dishwasher is also available. Our dining area is also shared with the household which is part of an extension leading out into a garden. There is a separate upstairs lounge for lodgers with a tv available. We provide all extras (washing-up liquid, toilet rolls, soap, cleaning materials)
Our desire is to have a regular meal together as a household as time allows.

More about the household:
We welcome anyone over 21years of age. The attic bedroom can be used for studying. We presently have two lodgers; a trainee doctor , who will be moving at the end of July and a 30+ man working at Oxford University Press
James & I have lived here for 12+ years. We have always shared our home with other folk for most of our married life & love having the company. Our desire is to be a blessing & support to those in our household which will involve sharing a meal together as & when appropriate and playing board games. We always celebrate birthdays & other special occasions together with members of the household, when appropriate.
Our house is near the No. 8 bus stop which is a very regular service to the city centre.
There's a local supermarket, fish & chip shop & pharmacist just up the road
Barton has a new housing complex nearby with an attractive landscaped area with pathways & a lake. Just a few minutes away is countryside with walks up to Sidlings Cope Nature Reserve.
