Rusholme end-of -terrace house with a big patio outside for barbecues, Excellently located for university, work and city centre and close to public transport. Access to the house is through a walled gate, and it is in a quiet area, overlooking school playing fields and sports area. The house has five bedrooms; two of which are big doubles, a third is a small double and two singles. The house is centrally heated, double-glazed and fully furnished. There are security hooks on the patio for bikes and safe car parking on Dalton Avenue. The house has been updated, with a new boiler February 2024, new wiring, and downstairs toilet. Mains-connected smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, fire safety provisions, and beds. Broadband operates through the house. The kitchen-diner is equipped with new range cooker, washing machine, fridge-freezer, extra fridge, microwave etc. There is also a shared lounge, utility facilities, downstairs loo and washbasin, and new refurbished bathroom. The tenancy is joint, with the rent shared unequally, depending on size of room and number of occupants. Utilities, broadband and council tax (where relevant) are shared equally among housemates.The room available is the smallest (and hence cheapest) in the house. It is downstairs, off the kitchen. Will be available from April.

The house works best when it is shared by good friends, and the housemates are usually interns, postgrads and those in secular work. They come from the UK and overseas. Everyone shares joint tenancy, which means household chores and bills. People take responsibility for different parts of the household management. The large range oven means it is possible for people to cook and eat together on days when their timetables allow it, and the large patio offers space for visitors to eat outside also. Housemates attend different churches and fellowships throughout the city. The house is let on an annual basis, although some stay two or up to five years. The age-range is normally between 25 and 35 with people of either sex. We are looking for a Christian to join the household.
