More about the accommodation:
Hi there!
I’m looking for a female to fill a single room in our 2-bedroom flat in Balham. The room is available from the 10th of April 2024 until the 31st of May 2025.
Accommodation:
A conveniently located two-bedroom split-level flat with a reception room, separate kitchen, and double glazing throughout. It includes a bathroom with a separate toilet. The flat is unfurnished, but we have most of the furniture in place, including a sofa, dining table, bookshelf, cabinet, and microwave. Your room is the single room on the first floor, and it comes with a built-in wardrobe. Currently, there is a single bed, a set of drawers, and a large desk in the room, all purchased by the current tenant. However, she will be happy to leave those in the room for the next tenant.
Accessibility:
Situated between Wandsworth Common and Balham, less than ten minutes' walking distance to Balham tube and train station, as well as shops such as Sainsbury's, Waitrose, ALDI, Boots, etc., and restaurants on Balham High Road. The green open expanse of Wandsworth Common is also within a ten-minute walk.
Rent details:
The rent is £975 per calendar month, excluding council tax and bills (which are approximately £100-£140 per month per person). Wandsworth Council Tax - band D.
About the housemate:
Female in her late 20s, a full-time worker in finance, WFH 1-2 days weekly. Respectful person who lives a regular life and enjoys both outdoor and indoor activities. Attends All Souls church.
What we’re looking for:
Female, full-time worker. Our agreement is until the 31st of May 2025. We are looking for someone who can commit until the end of the contract term. Tenant reference checks and deposits are required by the landlord. We appreciate a flat culture of mutual respect and consideration, and we're happy for friends to visit with advance notice.
