Large double bedroom (15 sq.m) in a 2-bedroom, 2nd-floor flat to be shared with owner-occupier (female, mid-30s professional). The bedroom comes with a double bed, mirrored wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and comfy chair. Desk and chair can be provided if needed. Additional storage space available in attic.

The rest of the flat comprises the owner's bedroom, a lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom (shower over bath). Beautiful views over Rivelin valley from the lounge and kitchen. Communal outdoor space is limited but there are rotary drying frames in the grounds and access to nature within 1 minute's walk in the valley. Parking is available in the block's off-street communal parking area.

Nice friendly neighbourhood. Close to regular 81 and 82 bus routes; Co-Op and Lidl stores 5 minutes/ 20 minutes walking distance away respectively.

Please note: there are steep steps down into the block of flats and there is no lift, so it is not suitable for those with mobility issues. No smokers please.

I'm a 34-yr-old professional who is an active member of St Philip's Church (we meet in the building of St Stephen's in Netherthorpe). I work full-time for a local authority, WFH twice a week.

This is my first home which I bought in September 2023, and I'm keen to find a housemate as I've always preferred living with people to living by myself! I'm a sociable introvert - I like having people around, though also like time to myself. I'm fairly organised and tidy but not excessively so. My vision for the flat is very much that it would be a shared home, so we would share use of the lounge between us and my hope is that we'd have at least one meal together a week (though open to more often) to connect. I enjoy cooking, walking and good cups of tea.
