More about the accommodation:
I have a spacious double bedroom available furnished and with plenty of inbuilt wardrobe space. The room is available until around 15th July as I am having my family stay then for around 4/5 months. The rooms will be available again around Dec 2024.
I love hosting friends, so the living room has a dining table which can seat up to 6 people.
There is a power recliner sofa for relaxing and little tub chairs - great for extra friends or hosting community groups :)
The fridge is American sized to make sure there's a good amount of freezer and fridge space!
The family sized bathroom has both a shower and a bath.
There is a conservatory, sunny garden with covered outdoor seating area and a small waterproof outbuilding with lighting and space to store a bike.
There's a bus stop right outside the house, which is great for getting into the city centre. Crossgates shopping centre (www.crossgatesshopping.co.uk/) and The newly developed Springs retail park (thesprings-leeds.co.uk/) are both really close. Theres a MASSIVE Tesco superstore which is a 12 min walk, or a 3 min cycle/drive from the house.

One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. - this is how my life is prioritised, so I spend a good amount of time at church in the week :)
I have a new housemate arriving at the beginning of March - she's a 27 year old social worker and will be looking for her church here.
I mostly work at home, but sometimes venture out to a hotel that I've found is a great 'office space'!
I love hosting people for dinner (hence the dining table with 6 chairs!) and I enjoy boardgames when I get a chance to play. A random life goal I have is to feed robins by hand, so I'm attempting to attract small birds to the garden...
One thing I love about Leeds is although it's a city, there are lots of great places to go walking and I'm planning to get back on my bike once I've worked out the cycle routes.
I love being round people and am also very happy with my own company.
