My name is Lena and I'm 25 years old. Originally, I'm from Germany, but for the last few years I've lived in Torino (Italy) and now, I'm moving to Oxford for my DPhil in Mathematics applied to cancer research. Moving to Italy on my own has been exciting for me, but what has truly made this experience special is finding a church, where I can serve, and a Christian community that feels like a second family. This is what I hope to find in the UK too and what better place to start with than with Christian house/flat mates with whom I can connect, play board games or go for a walk and a picnic.
