More about the accommodation seeker:
Hello, I moved to Dunbar just over 1.5 years ago and lodged with a family for several months and am now in a temporary let. I love Dunbar and because I moved here specifically to be part part of the Discovery church community, I plan on staying and making Dunbar my home.
However, because of the nature of my job, I do not have a big budget so could not afford more than the price indicated and that would include most to all bills ideally.
And I need to be close to public transport as I don't have to car but need to do a fair amount of travel for me job so need quick and easy access to either the bus or train.
I am the national co-ordinator for 24-7 Prayer Scotland (www.24-7scotland.com) which is part of the global network of 24-7 Prayer (ww.24-7prayer.com). And because we are a small and fairly new charity and are still fundraising, I am not currently salaried but raise my own support, thus the limited budget.
I love hospitality, cooking, animals ( I would love to have a dog! ), being out in nature ( would love a garden - even if small ), travelling, reading, all things creative and a good tv series. I am quite clean and tidy and fairly good at DIY so would take good care of whatever space I am in. I am a social introvert - I need quiet and space and time to myself but also enjoy good, deep conversations over a coffee or glass of red wine, board games, good food, walking or watching a film with others. Living ethically and sustainably is important to me though I don't claim to be perfect at it.
The nature of my job means I would need to work from home the majority of the time and my hours can at times include evenings or weekends. Because of this I am ideally looking for a space where I can work from other than my bedroom. I am also training to become a spiritual director and so I would need a space where I can welcome directees a couple of times a month where they can feel relaxed and that they have complete privacy.
I am hoping for a long-term let as am quite tired of moving often and always feeling a bit unsettled but am open to a short-term let.
