More about the accommodation:
AVAILABLE SHORT TERM FROM 1 JULY
The flat is available for up to 6 months (possibly longer) - but you can stay for as long or short a time as you need.
Hi, I've a large single room available in a three bedroom maisonette in Kingston. The bedrooms are large with all newish furniture. The living areas and kitchen are fully furnished and kitted out. Downstairs there's a large lounge, dining kitchen, and large south-facing balcony.
The flat is over two floors and is located in a small block of flats in a quiet residential area. Downstairs there is a large dining kitchen, big lounge, balcony, storage cupboards, and the hall. The kitchen is large enough for a dining table and chairs, giving two useful living spaces. Upstairs there are the three bedrooms (two doubles, one single), the bathroom, and more storage. The property looks out over attractive terraced houses and over towards Richmond Park. The balcony is big enough to sit out on and enjoy the summer sun, and also for BBQs.
The flat is furnished. It has been decorated and renovated and is in excellent condition. There is a secure storage shed under the property which is suitable for storing bikes, tools, or sports equipment. Parking is in the street and a small annual charge (c.£60) is made for a permit, the big advantage being that this guarantees a parking space close to the flat.
The neighbours are friendly and quiet. There are a number of local shops, pubs, and restaurants within two minutes walk from the flat, including a Coop. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to Kingston centre, Sainsburys or Asda, and Kingston or Norbiton rail stations, and around 5 minutes to walk to Richmond Park.
Transport links are really good both into London and further afield. The train to Waterloo takes around 20 minutes from Norbiton station. Kingston bus station has buses into London, to Heathrow (25-35 minutes), and all across south west London. To get to the tube you need to get the train to Wimbledon (10 mins) or the bus to Richmond (15 mins) or Putney Bridge (20 mins). There's lots of opportunity to cycle, walk and run in Richmond Park.
Council tax and other bills are not included in the rent. Both tax and bills are low for the area.
